The indoor climate is critical to this prominent historical building, built in 1870 and renovated in 1911. Original documents from Beethoven are stored in the building and to conserve the paper quality the humidity and temperature should be kept on a constant level. There are also special needs for low noise levels. The hvac system has been extended during the last decades and was not working efficiently.TA worked closely with architects, consultants and other suppliers to design and install the ideal balancing system. TA’s manual balancing valves, STAD and STAF, were installed and system was balanced according to the TA Method. The system ensures low noise levels and optimum control of temperature and humidity in all areas.
