The owner of Tour & Andersson, IMI plc has recently completed a six-month audit of the emissions across seven key manufacturing sites, including Tour & Andersson, resulting in several emissions reduction projects. The aim of the project is to ensure that Tour & Andersson continues to follow the standards set by the GHG Protocol, performing over and above its statutory obligations.
Core to the business is the delivery of energy efficient systems for customers. Therefore the efficiency and a rigorous environmental approach in Tour & Andersson’s own functions are integral to the business. The recent Emissions Project has taken this a step further in analysing each company’s environmental impact. Tour & Andersson and its sister companies together currently emit 14,340 tonnes of CO2 . This is an emissions level that is better than average for the sector.
