Handheld Display
The display is divided into three areas, the Information bar, the Main display and the Function keys.

1. Information bar
Icons on the Information bar display details of battery status, connection type and intensity.

2. Main display
Instructions on how to carry out hydronic functions are shown on the Main display.

3. Function keys
The three top keys on the keypad are used for selecting options shown in the lower part of the Main display. The options vary depending on which menu is currently shown.

Keypad
The alphanumeric keys function in the same manner as most mobile phones. Select a letter by repeatedly pressing the key until the desired letter appears. Prolonged press enters a digit.

NOTE! Never leave water in the Dp Sensor when risk of freezing exists (i.e., in the car during winter).

Quick Measure

Measure Flow
1. Connect measuring equipment.


2. Navigate to Quick Measure in the main menu and press enter.


3. Navigate to Measure Flow and press enter.


4:1. Input the given Design Flow for the terminal.
4:2.  Define valve.
4:3.  Input Valve Opening.
4:4.  Define fluid.


5. Press function key Measure to start measuring.


6. Calibration of the Dp Sensor.

 

 

 

TA-SCOPE automatically demands calibration when needed. When requested – press the calibration button (1) on the Dp Sensor. Release the calibration button (2) when message “calibration ready” is displayed.

 

 

 

PC Communication

Transfer of Data
Connect TA-SCOPE to your PC to transfer data, e.g., hydronic networks and collected system information to and from the TA-Select software. Use the USB-cable to connect the Handheld to a PC and the TA-Select software will automatically connect to TA-SCOPE. Simply  follow the instructions on the PC.

Software Upgrade
When a new version of the TA-SCOPE software is available, TA-Select will automatically suggest an upgrade. Simply connect your TA-SCOPE and follow the instructions on the PC.

 

Batteries – Capacity & Charging

Upon delivery the TA-SCOPE is fully charged and prepared to start balancing immediately. The Information bar on the Handheld displays the battery status for both Handheld and Dp Sensor whenever communication is established.
The Handheld and Dp Sensor are charged separately and TA-SCOPE is delivered with two chargers accordingly.
If the Dp Sensor is low on power it can be connected to the Handheld for additional power supply and continued measuring/balancing.
