TA-CBI Software release version PR5A.1

A new version of the TA-CBI software is now available. The software will update the valve database with the ever increasing, innovative valve range from Tour and Andersson.  
This software update is compatible with Windows XP, 2000 & ME versions. A software update compatible with Windows Vista will be released soon.
To upgrade your TA-CBI, you need to connect the PC communication cable with the small extension cable, provided with the TA-CBI, according to the picture below. 

An additional feature of this TA-CBI software is that it will automatically give you the option of using the TA-CBI USB cable (TA article number 52 197-071). This cable is used instead of the normal PC communication cable. The USB cable together with the special upgrade extension cable should be connected along with the power supply as illustrated in the picture below.  
 
NOTE: The extension cable is only to be used for upgrading of the software in the instrument. For transferring measuring data between your PC and TA-CBI, please use the PC communication cable only, without the extension!

Additional versions; High Pressure TA-CBI  
TA has also successfully launched a high differential pressure instrument, TA-CBI-HP, which is capable of measuring differential pressures up to 10bar. Software for these instruments is also included here.

Please read this before you install this software in your TA-CBI:    
Data transfer between your PC and TA-CBI will only be possible if your PC has the latest version of TA Select installed: TA Select III. (Please contact TA to recieve you're own copy on CD.

This is how you connect your TA-CBI using standard RS 232 (COM) cable.
